This coffee cup is literally made of coffee

These reusable coffee cups are made from coffee grounds

Ever wonder what happens to all of the coffee grounds your local coffee shop goes through? A company, Kaffeform, is turning used coffee grinds into reusable coffee cups. Using natural glues, wood particles, and recycled coffee from cafes, the process combines these ingredients created a liquid which is then formed into a coffee cup mold.

You can reuse these unique coffee-based coffee mugs over and over again and even throw them in the dishwasher. They even carry that subtle coffee scent that you long to smell every morning. By using leftover coffee grounds that are otherwise thrown away, Kaffeform has started cutting down on the wasted resources of the coffee industry one cup at a time.

Coffee companies and shops across the United States are doing what they can to help making the world a greener place — after all, the Earth is the only planet with coffee. At Death Wish, we're committed to being as sustainable as possible in all of our processes — including buying only organic and Fair Trade coffee beans and using packaging made from completely recycled paper.
