Korn to perform virtual concert in AdventureQuest

By Angela Garrity, Guest blogger

What do Korn, coffee, and concerts have in common? More than you might think, honestly. Combine all three ingredients and you just might be in for quite the Wicked treat.

Escaping to A Different World is both mentally therapeutic and enjoyable for gamers and concert goers alike. Artix Entertainment just dropped the payload when they announced the “cream of the crop” would be converted into video game characters. The free event will be "an unforgettably brutal, monster-filled virtual rock concert."

Korn is scheduled to perform the virtual concert in the game 'AdventureQuest,' on Tuesday, August 20. The band will perform a show inside the worlds of both AdventureQuest 3D and 2D on Tuesday, according to TicketNews.

Since 1994, Korn has been both heavy and unique in style with unusual elements embodying their music. The band’s debut album, Korn, has been recognized for its influence on others who were inspired by the album’s "churning rage, emphasizing similar grooves and song structures" and "the sound's hip-hop elements."

The band has sold nearly 40 million albums spanning over their 26-year career. They are now eligible for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and could easily be first-ballot inductees.

Korn’s new album, The Nothing, is slated to drop Sept. 13, so Kornites will just have to game on a little bit longer for just a few more weeks in anticipation of the new release.

Coffee is the recommended gaming fuel of choice because caffeine is our friend at keeping attention spans and our focus sharp. This helps make gamers perform better. In the competitive world of e-sports, there is little room for error.

Whether you’re a gamer, concert buff, or slacker, coffee is uniting all of us one brew at a time. Get your boogie on!
