What makes Death Wish Coffee the world's strongest coffee?

By Sierra Meisser — / Death Wish Coffee Blog

It's the biggest question we get, and it's our favorite to answer. What makes Death Wish Coffee the world's strongest coffee? Our original Death Wish blend is 200% stronger than your average cup of Joe, and there are actually a few key factors that go into making the strongest coffee you can get.

Death Wish is organic and Fair Trade.

Only one ingredient goes into making the world's strongest coffee- USDA certified organic and Fair Trade certified coffee beans. This means there are no additives or additional caffeine added throughout making the blend. We source our beans from India and Peru, which are known for their very nutrient-rich soils. We are constantly sourcing the highest-quality of robusta and arabica beans to craft the perfect blend.

    It's a dark roast.

MYTH: Light roasts have more caffeine than dark roasts. Truthfully, the strength of a coffee is not as simple as "dark" or "light". Using a unique roasting technique of time and temperature variation, Death Wish is slowly roasted to a dark roast.  This makes for a low-acidity blend that's double the strength as your average Joe. Flavor notes of chocolate and cherry can be tasted throughout the blend, and it's our bold, smooth flavor that sets us apart from the others.
