Meet the real Frankenstein and his bride

Frankenstein and his bride have been
married 20 years

We wanted to share a real love story that will warm even your icy cold heart. Twenty years ago, on a night perfect for mystery and horror Frankenstein finally married the bride he had always dreamed of.

Gord Lamoureux and Carey Enns on their wedding today and today

We're serious. On October 31, 1998, Gord Lamoureux married Carey Enns, and they were dressed the part. The Halloween wedding was complete with jack-o'-lanterns and tombstones, and Gord and Carey were dressed the part as Frankenstein and his bride, respectively.

Carey even carried a bouqet of dead flowers down the aisle. The best man — our dear ol' pal the Grim Reaper — produced the wedding bands from a tiny coffin.

Newspaper clipping recounting Gord and Carey's Wedding titled "Married to the Ghoul of His Dreams"

Fast forward 20 years, and Gord knew EXACTLY what to get Carey for Valentine's Day. He gave her our Undying Mug (and they got the matching T-shirts), which depicts Frankenstein's Bride and is as green as Gord's face was on that chilly Halloween night in 1998.

Gord and Carey were kind enough to share their spooky love story with us and the rest of the world, and we hope that they have the best Valentine's Day ever. Mugs up!
