Where do you want to see us donate to?

How donations from Death Wish Coffee work and where we've donated

Here at Death Wish, we're constantly looking for ways to give back to our coffee-loving community. The reason why we've gotten to where we are as a company is because of you — the people who have supported us from day one.

So naturally, we want to give back in any way that we can. We've recently donated coffee and other products to first responders working tirelessly in areas affected by Hurricane Michael, California wildfires, in addition to helping our community send products overseas through Operation Sandbox. We've also donated products to serve at local sport events and to auction off for charity.

We learn about people who need our help through our Donation Request Form, which I look through about once a week to see where we can help. If you're looking for product donations, monetary donations, sponsorships, and more, this is the form to fill out!

We've also recently started Random Acts of Caffeination, where we surprise schools, first responders, and more with a care package filled with coffee and merch. The form for Random Acts for Caffeination is here — help us recognize and surprise the local heroes in your community.

Where we've donated and what we've sponsored

Special Olympics New York

For three years, we've sponsored the Special Olympics New York annual summer event. This year, that event was called the Be Our Superhero Field Day. Years prior, it was rUNDEAD — a zombie-themed 5K event.

To raise money for this amazing organization, we release limited edition Deneen Pottery mugs and donate 100% of the proceeds. This year, we raised $37,492.50 through our amazing community that purchased this mug, which sold out in only 2 hours!

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

For the second year in a row, we teamed up with world-renowned guitarist Zakk Wylde, the man behind our Valhalla Java Odin Force blend, to raise money for St. Jude's. Through a limited edition Valhalla Java mug sale, we raised $30,000 for St. Jude's — all thanks to Zakk and the people who bought the mug.

Toys for Toga

To help local kids in Saratoga County (where we're located in New York) have the best holiday season possible, we teamed up with local companies like DeCrescente Distributing Company and Druther's Brewing Company collect toys for Toys for Toga. We gave a free bag of coffee to anyone who brought a toy into our office, and we received hundreds of toys!

All of the money raised and toys donated will be split equally among Franklin Community Center, CAPTAIN Community Human Services, and Mechanicville Area Community Services Center.

Riki's Ride

We were a proud sponsor for Riki's Ride this year, and for years prior. This year, Riki Rachtman and Lea Vendetta rode across the country on a motorcycle to raise money and awareness for Stop Soldier Suicide.

We couldn't raise this money or donate toys without you guys — the people who reach out to us, buy our charity products, bring in toys, and so much more. So THANK YOU!

Have an idea for us? Fill out the donation request form so we can keep giving back to the community!
